I honestly think Tottenham's name is on the trophy.

They have survived so many terminal blows by the skin of their teeth, something is happening (can't even say unfortunately because I'm still undecided on who the lesser evil is).

Could have said the same thing about Liverpool last season, we looked destined to win it and then came up against a superior and more experienced side.

Nah, just because Spurs got to the Final it doesn't mean they're going to win it. They're not going to win it for several reasons. A CL Final is a completely different animal to anything that comes before it.

Liverpool have CL pedigree and dare I say it a special relationship with this competition. Factor in that this is Pool's 4th CL Final in the last 15 years. That's quite an achievement and so the club and the fans know exactly what it means to be in a CL Final.

Spurs on the other hand have almost no Finals experience let alone the enormous spotlight of being in a CL Final. They'll be like a rabbit in the headlights. Pool will start the game well and probably score an early goal meaning an uphill battle for the rest of the game for Spurs.

If Pool do get that early goal as I think they might then I can see them scoring three maybe four on the night and battering Spurs. It won't be a close Final.

Did you ever look in any serious danger of going out? Roma may have been a scare if they got their 4th ten minute earlier but that's about it.

Tottenham on the other hand are getting the type of implausible luck you got in 2005 and we got in 2012, every round bar the RO16 they've been saved in the very last minute either by scoring or having a VAR decision reversed.

Look at Allison's save in the 90th minute against Napoli.

Look at our ridiculous 4-0 win against Barca.

Even if we ignore last year, we seem to be seeing our fair share of fortune this year.

If Spurs have been riding their luck as much as that then doesn't that just show that they really have no place in this Final ?

Spurs fans don't even believe that they're going to win the Final. If they did then they'd be reacting to articles like this as we know that Spurs fans constantly read articles on this board.

They're just happy to be there and they'll be reasonably happy to lose because at least they'll be able to say they got to a CL Final, something beyond their wildest dreams.

Liverpool are going to batter Spurs.
