Steve Clarke is the favourite to get the job. I reckon he'd be a good choice.

If he’s offered the job it’ll be the only thing sensible that committee has done for donkeys.

that'll be the main selling point, he'll get to move back down south

He will get us to a tournament, he can get the best out of players. Great appointment.

There is a real paucity of options as usual for the Scotland job.
Clarke is by far the outstanding candidate.
McInnes looks like he wants to stick to club management and stay in his comfort zone at Pittodrie where he is under zero pressure to win anything.
Moyes career has completely lost its way and it would be a bit desperate to throw him in as an international manager right now. I think he needs a lower ranking club side with low expectations where he can appear to over achieve and restore his reputation.
McKay is a joke.
Has Scott Gemmell ever actually managed a grown ups football team?

Clarke confirmed apparently, announcement due out by Saturday.
Farewell party at Rugby park for him then.
