I think people underestimated Matip. He was great first season for us. He was average last season mainly due to injury and not getting a chance alongside vvd. I called that he would be a different player alongside an organiser.

I’ve always said he should be in front of Lovren. He looks a different player alongside VVD compared to pairing with Dejan

Lovren has been better than Matip for me before this season, however Matip has cut out the silly errors, especially with his heading, which for a tall guy was very poor and added to his ability taking the ball out of defence he's way ahead of Lovren now. I'd still be looking to get Gomez sharp for the start of next season and next to VVD. Their partnership was excellent before Gomez got injured.

City will do anything to try create rivalry and be relevant wont they 😂

Fact still remains no one gives a sheite about City really even when they win, wasnt even the first lottery club so not hated for that and even Utd fans supporting ya over others 😂
