Good Morning!
*IAR sealed, decent win, some new bhoys on show too.
So can we look back on our league season with a little perspective...
We had to deal with.
- Boyata nonsense in summer, Athems ETC...
- Dembele leaving with hours to go (Rodgers carries can for this!)
- Griffiths issues
- Losing our manager!
- Lennon coming in to see out season
- Nightmare season for injuries
- One fit striker for nearly whole season
Am I missing anything else?
With all of this we still managed to win league by 9 points (same as last season)
Won league Cup
In final of Scottish cup
More points than last season
More goals than last season
Less goals against than last season!
I'd say that's a pretty decent return with only one fit striker for bulk of season. Blooded many young players, with great potential
I am not naïve to think we need to improve, and some of our games have been turgid, but we cant always have blockbuster seasons, winning title is all that matters.
Thoughts?

Why are Celtic trying to get worse each season, on purpose? A couple of seasons ago they were unbelievable. Since then they have gotten steadily worse. It is good that it increases competition and is more enjoyable for the neutral but I don’t see how trying to be a worse team benefits Celtic?

All teams in any league reach a point where they need change the time has come for this team.

Except at right back, that almost never changes

teams and managers have a shelf life at celtic.
when you look at most of our team they have been there prior to rodgers arrival.
see tbh, i know we won trophies but aside from rodgers first season we have been frustrating viewing.
that said he put in place a structure that will take us forward, Lennon letting the players smash cans of coke and big macs would be a slap in the face to that.
