Where did he confirm that? Some Italian paper story that the ET and S*n picked up ?

It was pointed out that roughly the same time Moyes was attending games that Lennons started looking far more glum and less enthusiastic.

Is it true he will be in the directors box for the final? sure i read it on here?
That's the rumour mate.
If he is at the final as a guest of the board then the job is his.

Still seems weird that anyone would be invited into the directors box for the game if there is no announcement beforehand.

Rafa rumours growing again.
Never mind how likely or otherwise it is, what's everyone's thoughts on him as a manager?

I like him, football isn't swashbuckling but it is still easy on the eye and he gets results.

I've basically convinced myself its going to be him
if it isn't him i'll be disappointed.

He is a top manager, gets his team organised and also playing decent football. His record speaks for itself, He has done a great job at Newcastle they have been very lucky to have hime.
I dont think for one second he will be joining Celtic, he is in fairly high demand and other clubs in better leagues will be willing to pay him more than Celtic can IMO.
However if you did appoint him I cant see us beating you.

I don't think it'll be him anyway, he's far too high profile.

Rafa is fantastic manager at the right club. He hasn't chosen well when he gets the chance to manage a big club with a chance of winning things. Celtic would be the first time since Liverpool that he should be in a situation to manage the club the way he wants to. At Inter and Real Madrid he walked into situations that were already beginning to fall apart when he arrived.
I personally can't see him taking the job though.
