Ole has recently been quoted at saying that supporters shouldn't expect to see 5 players coming in, but I honestly can't see how that is possible, simply by the fact that 2 have already left due to end of contract and with the possibility of Mata being the third. Darmian has wanted to leave in at least the last two windows, Rojo seems surplus to requirement, Lukaku was told last year that he isn't the main striker any more, I don't think Sanchez has a career at the club anymore and will be sold/released with pay, and we still don't know what will happen with Pogba - Real Madrid. De Gea will be sold if he doesn't sign, I know we let Harrea leave on a free, but that seemed to be a Board choice and De Gea would carry a much more significant Transfer sum than Ander.
So, I know so much of this is just gossip at the moment, but before this becomes a fantasy football thread, where do you all honesty think we'll end up with transfers by the first day of the season?

The club will get 5 in I think. Ole is just trying to lower expectations in case we don’t get our targets.
Mata I think will stay. I think Darmian and Rojo have to go
Sanchez who knows what’s going to happen with that one.
I think we will see one high profile departure. It will be one of lukaku, De Gea or Pogba

3 in, 6 out would do for me, provided the right players were brought in.
We're not going to challenge for the title next season, so let's see the kids promoted, a young, hungry squad built and a definitive style of play developed - an expansive, attacking one, of course.
I'd be happy if we performed like Wolves next season to be honest. That'd be a big improvement in terms of entertainment already.

Although I'm happy to give the kids a chance, but with the injuries we had last year, is it worth the risk putting the pressure on inexperience players following such an awful season?

Whoever we buy in, I would like a leader to come from somewhere..
I think half our problem would disappear on the pitch if we had a leader and captain, that everyone could look to when heads are down.

We aren't going to compete with those two after just one summer. The target this year has to be 3rd as Spurs, Arsenal n Chelsea only just finished ahead of us and aren't great.
We can't expect a title challenge until 2021 at the earliest for me.

Rojo and Darmian are surely dead certs to leave.
I think we’ll let Lukaku go if we get enough for him and Sanchez if someone will pay him enough.
Hopefully Matic, Jones and Young too but I doubt it.

Matic will stay unless we can bring in a top drawer specialist DM, and I think it's very likely we'll be focussing on other areas (CB, RB, RW, CM, CF?)
