Summary
The Champions League Final kicks off today! It's always been a massive game that we look forward to watching but what an incredible feeling to wake up and have your team playing later this evening for the biggest club cup competition in the world.

I think we all need to enjoy the occasion and celebrate the progress we've made as a club over the last 10 years. My only demand from the players and manager is that we give it a proper go! There will always be a winner and a loser tonight - that much I understand.

However, losing like Arsenal did in the Europa League Final a few days ago would be devastating. What an opportunity to land our biggest trophy ever and really make our mark across Europe!

So, looking back over the last 10 years, what an improvement we've made as a club. This is all during a period of off-field development with our training facility and stadium build.

League Position & Points
We've been incredibly consistent over the last 10 years in our ability to finish in the top 6 alongside United, Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Considering our recent success this might feel like an underachievement but the 10 years before the period above we'd only made the top six twice! For the most part lingering mid-table.

Pochettino as we ALL have come to appreciate has been fantastic in getting us those extra two or three positions higher and securing CL football. Achieving it 4 times during his 5 years with Spurs compared with the 2 occasions previously one of which ended in Europa League anyway!

Europe Position
The 'first five years' have seen us competing in Europa League with the 2010/11 season an anomaly, but what an incredible few games did we have then. Those were the sort of nights you wanted to watch.

During Pochettino's reign we've improved each and every season. Losing in Round 32 of Europa League then Round 16 with now three consecutive Champions League runs. Losing in the Group stages, losing in the Round 16 and now amazingly in the final.

We are underdogs today but by no means lightweight. Liverpool are a club who have progressed themselves and have had an extremely strong season competing in the league against City and now back to back CL final. Our players are more than capable of coming out victorious tonight. Every single one needs to put in a massive shift and remain focused throughout. Let's bring the trophy back with us!

Why didn't you start from 2008...you could've included your league cup win

Which was against your club. Lol, little underachieving Spurs, but still manged to beat your team.
That aside, once again a fan, firstly joining the wrong board, and secondly missing the overall point of the post, which is about progress made, consistency achieved, both with a vastly inferior budget to our rivals.
Maybe you should look at your club in terms of:
1. Can't hold onto a Manager for 5 minutes.
2. The original " buying success with no history" club.
Thanks for the now ridiculously inflated prices we
see today which is killing the game.
3. Better stadium ( although with Stamford Bridge is
not difficult eh ? )
4. Consistent CL participation in recent years - not
something your club can boast.

I could go on, but can't really be bothered this early in the day.
