Kiko Casilla has been linked with a return to Spain less than six months after signing for Leeds United. BPF is our MAN.

Not sure this goes with popular thought chain of the wolves but I think he’s a decent keeper
His performance vs derby was as bad it gets.. no doubt.. but that game aside, I think he’s been excellent..
I’m a total stats man if I’m honest and I believe his goals to game ratio is worse than PF... but I actually think that has more to do with how poor the team were playing in the second half of the season compared to first.
A few times when Kiko’s takes a catch, or saved a shot I’ve thought, ‘quality’.
Again I must be watching something different to you lot .. really unfair to base your opinion on Kiko purely on the derby game..

I thought similar.
He’s had around 4 months in a really tough league, with a team struggling around him & a language barrier to throw into the mix. I’m not sure reserve grade Spanish footy was ideal prep for that - even if it was Real. Derby was a mare, but let’s be honest the whole team pretty much imploded then & especially against Wigan. Rabchutka, silvestri, the German. We do love a Johnny Foreigner keeper to vent our frustrations on.

I'm not German so hopefully that's not pointing at me!.
Thing is here is he played a lot less than BPF and let a lot more in!..
When you think about it how many goals were conceded in the first 8 or so games, not sure but it wasn't many, and like people say, things got bad with the defense but BPF still let less in!..
The stats for his 19 or so games and BPF's last 19 would give more off an idea as to how bad BPF according to some is!..

🤣🤣🤣 never aimed at you 👍🏽👍🏽
Thing is those first few games, Pontus didn’t play if I remember right. Didn’t we have Berardi or Halme covering depending on who was fit & available? Do we blame Pontus?
Spaniard - I just think we see things from a similar perspective. I don’t profess to be right or factually accurate with any contribution, I just offer opinion. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

There was something a while ago, season before this if I'm not mistaken, where they analysed the way Leeds play and the so called experts broke down Jannson's game and earmarked the way he played!..
They said he did things he shouldn't and always left his partners in a fix!..
He might have improved this time around but he did have a habit off doing things and leaving the back line to tidy up for him!..

Irrespective of the stats on goals and clean sheets, there have been far too many occasions when his distribution has meant languidly chipping the ball out to one of the full-backs and immediately putting them under pressure, as they attempt to deal with a ball played to their chest (or above!) on the touchline, whilst under pressure from an opponent.
Really don't believe his distribution is all that, to be honest.
We either need better or he needs to improve this part of his game.

Exactly Radebe... he can use his feet pretty well, but he gives hospital passes most games, gets caught out of position, rushes off his line when he doesn’t need to. Derby was just when it all came home to roost... it could have happened any time.
Communication was poor... it wasn’t always great with BPF either... and BPF did let in some soft goals, but his distribution was better.

Didn’t base my judgement on one game. He made 1 world class save at Rotherham and hopes were high but practically every shot since went in. Left his goal unguarded at least once in every game when failing to deal with a cross or sweeping duties. His judgement is poor, he fails to stand tall on one on ones often diving before a shot is taken. His positioning is poor often well of his line making shots harder to save having less time. He takes the odd catch better than BPF, And is decent with his feet but BPF was better in his few months than Casilla.
We desperately need a new consistent keeper.
