Don't you remember when we lost to Juve in the Cl a couple of seasons ago?
We were winning at one point. Then Allegri brought on Dybala specifically to run right past Trippier beating him for speed and thump the ball past an undefended Lloris.

Tbf forgot about when Ancelotti did say that they were looking at trippier publically

Still, whilst I doubt that the Juventus thing is true it's not like it's out of the realm of possibility

There was newspaper stuff about Napoli wanting Trippier when the team was in Amsterdam for the Ajax match.
Fans were saying they could pick him up there and save his fare back to London.
Anways, if he does go to Juve I'll pay you a week's wages if you'll do the same to me if he doesn't.

Why would I make a bet about something unless i thought I'd win it

I saw an interview with Trippier after the CL final and he has obviously seen all the negative stuff online about some of his performances. I got the impression he is unsure about his future and expecting to be having talks with Poch etc about what is next for him.

It`s why I try not to criticize anybody that pulls on a Spurs shirt, no matter how poor they have played, it can not be nice for players to be reading the fans having a pop at them on forums such as this etc.

I`m sure I have singled out players in the past but I at least try not to make a habit of it.

It was really peculiar last season how Spurs were linked so heavily with Grealish last summer when Maddison is younger, looks like a better player and was cheaper as well.
