I know that there are a number of our fans calling for Bruce to be sacked, but I think that the problems we have faced with injuries and certain transfer dealings will make Bruce a stronger manager next season.
Football is no different to any other business in the fact that mistakes are made by managers, and that manager will manage better if they learn the lessons of those mistakes.

Obvious Bruce will be better for it, after all he has been given another yr to prove he is the man to take us to the European steps! He will reflect and think he is very lucky to still be seated in the job.
I along with everyone will be waiting for the statement of intent to make the decent signings required. One question I have:
Does Short put 50million into the pot to potentially finish at best 6th spot or does he tell Bruce to sell a few and give him 20million and accept a top ten? what do we think lads and lasses

I think we may have seen the last of the big money invested by Short. I feel that he will be looking for Bruce to offload one or two of his signings that have failed to fund any transfers.
