I nominate Steven Bergwijn who has emerged in recent days as a transfer target for Spurs.
Sky Sports, , reported that Tottenham 'lead the race' for the PSV Eindhoven winger.
Cheap at £35 million
Levy would love that
Cheap players for Spurs

Of course but above it looks like you clearly have stated that you value losing the CL final over winning the Europa league.
Losing CL final > winning ropey league IMO.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In terms of prive money
Why would I prefer NOT winning a trophy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why even use it as a barometer though?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why are you even on our board?

bored.

It's an interesting debate. Consider this:
- Instead of finishing 4th and reaching the CL final, let's say Spurs won the Carabao Cup, but crashed out of the CL to Dortmund and finished 6th. We would have won a trophy, which we didn't in reality. But which scenario puts us in better stead for next season and beyond? Which scenario would have us targeting players such as Lo Celso (reportedly) instead of Ryan Fraser, as an example?
- Chelsea finished third and won the Europa League, a great European Trophy. Immediately after the final, Hazard was interviewed and expressed his intention to leave and is now on the verge of joining Real Madrid. Why would he want to do that when he is at a club clearly recently capable of winning European trophies, Premier Leagues, FA Cups?

Why would any Spurs fan be envious of a team winning the Europa League? It’s a competition that currently we’re too good to be involved in. I also don’t mind that we didn’t win the Johnsons paint trophy.

However sarcastically it was put, it's a decent point! This kind of team comes down to the team you support. In a few years if Chelsea lose the CL final the same year as we win the Europa League, you'll have Chelsea fans on here belittling the trophy.

Roma star Nicola Zaniol?
CHEAP?

Are you hoping that if you say "cheap" enough times Levy will appear?

Few other clubs interested by the sounds of it.
United being one of them... Who would want the ropey league though?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf a club that wins trophies is probably preferable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, but ropey league...
------
Winning Ropey > not Winning CL
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Losing CL final > winning ropey league IMO.
--------
We can agree to disagree.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs got around £100m for reaching the final.
Be interesting to see what United got for winning it.
------
We make that from our noodle sponsorship. That's the problem we have. Our owners make too much money
