Just seen this on twitter

Only 15 PL goals from the number 7 United shirt in 10 years since Ronaldo left. Ronaldo not far off 400 League goals in that time frame too.
How Owen, Depay, Di Maria, Sanchez & Valencia (for one season) haven't managed more than 15 league goals between them is actually staggering.
The curse of the South American and now the curse of the number 7.
The curse of the number 7 shirt.

Amazing to think that Owen was probably the best of that group of players in the number 7 shirt

Di Maria was class for about 3 months. Then after the break in and LVG not seeing eye to eye with him he totally vanished. I had high hopes for the curse to be broken with him.

Pretty much sums Milner up, running in circles.
He just wasn't at the level of JOS.

It all goes back to that Leicester game with LVG. Up till then we had played good football.
Then he misread the result for what it actually was. A terrible refereeing performance. Nothing more.

From 1960s to Ronaldo, notably, Beckham, Eric, Robson, Coppell, Morgan, Best, all legendary no7s...
Then a load of old cack since, basically

True. We played some great stuff that day and the ref gave them 2/3 ridiculous decisions. That 'penalty' on Vardy was softer than soft. Diving git.

Their first goal went out for a goal kick. And the penalty against Raf was actually a foul on him by the corner flag and then a dive by Vardy.

O'Shea, played every position in defence, CM, GK, nutmegged Figo, and won everything worth winning at club level in England.
Milner, City Reject. Says it all.

Has he played as a keeper? Nutmegged Figo?

If you had 11 O'Sheas you can put out a football team. 11 Milner, and you'd still need a keeper.
