Miss when Sky Sports had the monopoly?

The theory was competition would bring prices down.

Has it bolloĉkŝ!!

Now it seems that every provider who has the rights to Premier League Football is going to charge on the obvious “supply and demand" basis. Which means, the customers are going to suffer if they want to watch all premier league matches next season.

I don’t work for Sky, but I’m confident if it were still just Sky Sports with all the Premier League rights, it would be cheaper than having 3 content providers

How it should be....customers subscribe to a service to watch all football matches, let's say for £40 per month.

Then BT, Skysports etc, should then take their cut out of that. Instead of customers having to do multiple subscriptions.

In the US, NBC has the rights to show all PL games, and you can watch every single game live including the Saturday 3pm games. It’s crazy that I can watch more games over here than you can in the UK.

I've realised that when I'm streaming the 3pm kick offs. NBC pretty much show every game...

iptv is the way forward, you cant half a%% is though, you have to get decent equipment and be prepared for a month or so to find a decent service, also hardwire the connection if possible, seen so many people say they have kodi or iptv through their tv and it doesn't work properly, yes because your tv is not meant for that

£5-6 a month decent vpn
£10-15 a couple of decent iptv's, one as a backup

these will be the only on going costs plus a one off box cost, been using for about 5months as wanted to give it a whirl before sky comes up for renewal so will be cancelling that next month

I love the idea but it just sounds like such a ball ache to get setup then finding the channel etc.

Very easy to set up. Mine uses the Mag box connected to the broadband. Streams always decent.

I just think it’s vile.

I know I get free BT Sports and Sky Sports so it doesn’t impact me as much. But I don’t like how it may impact others. I’m not gonna subscribe to Amazon. Even it was Chelsea at Pool and I knew in advance we were going to win 5-0 in advance.

I’d watch the highlights on MOTD and suffer listening to how Pool were unlucky and it was 5 blatant offside goals by Chelsea. Rather than pay Amazon. Enough truly is becoming enough.

That's a good argument against watching MotD
