Anyone see the Tory leadership debate minus Boris tonight?
Who impressed the most?
For me, Jeremy Hunt by a country mile. He really looks prime minister material.
Rory Stewart is clever and gifted but this is not his time. He is a remainer and can't help himself.
Gove did well as expected but outshone by Hunt I thought.
Javid was just OK, bit out of his depth.
Raab was the one I was hoping would do well but the others ganged up on him.
The man Boris is turning up to the next one. He will of course obliterate all his path. He is just on another level.
Hunt would be my choice for PM after Brexit is done and Boris has retired.

I got goosebumps listening to Boris tonight. A man mountain. A magnificent politician. A born leader.
100% a born leader.
I thought Javid did really well too.
Rory Stewart was taken down a peg or too. He had become a little bit too cocksure.
Gove and Hunt solid and dependable. Nailed on for cabinet positions I think.

Boris has just speaking in a hustings on the BBC.
I have to say the man is in incredible.
It's an absolute joy to hear every word that comes out of his mouth.
He's a bit like Stephen Fry in that he has a wonderful talent for language.
In the days of "like" and "I was like" it's so refreshing to hear an educated man with a fabulous vocabulary.
He looks like a born leader to me.

"I take nothing off the table." is what a run-of-the-mill politician says.
"I take nothing off the table, and it's a large and capacious table" is what Boris says.
He is just a cut above.

Be fun seeing Twitter in overdrive with him and Trump trying to bed each other!..
