Don't have to be, the league in England is a way to gain access to the top club competition ie the Champions league.
There is where you sort out who is the best team in Europe.
Liverpool.
For example, you could finish second in the group stage but go on to win the competition, same with the world cup.
It's all about who wins the Champions league, and be crowned champions of Europe.
we are the champions, champions of Europe
we are the champions, champions of Europe
we are the champions, champions of Europe
we are the champions, champions of Europe
we are the champions, champions of Europe
we are the champions, champions of Europe

Not champions of England though

Don't have to be. English league is a pre qualifying round for the Champions League.

Not bothered about not winning the premiership then?

Don't want to be greedy, European Cup is glorious.

So in other words, GB has thrown away thousands of pounds putting a bet on and bookies are covering their backs on the off chance

We are loaded. We made £200m alone on tv fees last season
He’d make a great addition to the bench

Newcastle made me chuckle...

Klopp has said he wants the club to be in a position where they can go for big players if they suddenly become available.
If Mbappe were to leave where would he go?
Real have already spent oodles.
City could go for him but do they need him with Aguero.
None of the other English clubs can aford him.
Neither can Barca.
I think it's more likely he stays at PSG for another season before going to Real but if by some amazing bit of work Liverpool did get him I'd make us favourites for the league.

Klopps two campaigns to the CL final have netted us about 150m.. That's phenomenal.
Never mind selling fees like 20m for Solanke etc..
We are pretty minted actually. Plus the TV revenue on top.

would that lead to
Fabinho Henderson
Salah Firmino Mane
Mbappe
Or Firmino on the bench and sticking with the 433?

I think it depends on the game really.
I mean Mbappe would start and Firmino looks most vulnerable but those four can play any of the front three positions so they'll be no shortage of game time.
7/1 seems poor odds though. Probably a lot less likely than that.
