Are there many clubs in the UK who can match this ? Manchester Utd I suppose, but nobody else.
I was shown this today, by one of my workers, he is a massive LFC fan, who I had to give time off to go to Madrid recently, and to go to Liverpool for the parade, this is just mind blowing:-

This club is massive, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City could only dream of having this world wide recognition and support.
Look at that stadium in Bandung, Indonesia to sell out complexes in Maritius, Croatia, Japan, Turkey, all over Africa and America and Asia, Nepal and Mongolia FFS, it's just astounding. Canada, Australia.
I never thought a football club could be so massive. This will define what a big club is, and what a world wide institution a club is. Don't get me wrong, I think there are numerous big clubs in the premier league, but not many world wide institutions like this.
Astounding, just astounding. WOW.

About not doing much in 30 years, have a think about this.. from 2005 - 2019, years that we won the Eurooean cup for the 5th and 6th time.. no English club has appeared in more CL finals or won the trophy more times in those 14 years.
Consider then, that for 7 of those 14 years Liverpool were not in the CL!
And you say we’ve done nothing for 30 years.. we are an institution and nothing’s been handed to us either.
The support, the passion, the lengths that fans go to and the effect it has cannot be bought, never mind stage managed and replicated.
750,000 at the parade, the atmosphere to lift the team to thrash Barca, you can’t buy it..
So sizz, let us know about that sense of entitlement you mentioned. You’re talking complete balls, remember when your club sent spies because you were worried about West Ham?
Talk about small club syndrome.

Good post OP.
Obviously some rival fans are a bit bitter about it, making snide comments and taking shots at the reigning, defending Champions of Europe and then crying like little girls that we have no humility when we give it back.
I think it was the desperate for relevance wolves fan that pulled out a list of Mongolian league winners and then started crying when the stick was given back.
