Mins to go, Clarke is far more likely option to bring off bench and change match than the others.

If he comes back and is good again/better than last season and helps us get promotion, then that will soften the blow of losing him. If we fail to go up again and he is good then we'd have most likely lost him next summer anyway.

If he struggles all season, then losing him won't seem so bad.

Very simplistic way of looking at it and doesn't consider the financial cost of bringing him back or the potential fee we'd have got after another season, etc.

If we sign Costa, I don’t mind Clarke coming back on loan.

Kid is a match winner and is familiar with life under Bielsa, don’t see a problem.

Vel, he had 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 game from the start and 20 coming from the bench.........yep definably a match winner

Don’t get me wrong he is a great talent and hopefully will become a great player and may become a matchwinner one day. But he was not a matchwinner last season

He’s a dangerous player and can actually take somebody on, a talent which we are desperately short of in our side.

I’d much rather he come off the bench than Allioski, who is useless on the wing.

Clarke is raw, but has the ability to win games. He did so last season.

Stats can be extremely misleading.

Clarke has the most ability of the listed players.

Someone posted on one of the SM platforms yesterday that he’s allegedly had a coke issue which the club have helped him overcome.

I have no idea if this is true or not but I do know Jonty has said many times that his collapse at boro was self inflicted. I assumed a hangover but if it was drugs it makes things much worse.

Please don’t shoot the messenger. It’s just what a saw last night on one of the Leeds threads on either twitter or FB.

At least he will be able to buy better drugs from now on.
