I can't help but be mightily impressed with Juve's activity thus far in the transfer window - Ramsey, Rabiot and De Ligt for circa £75m!
..... meanwhile at United ...........

That Ramsey wage is weird.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s a much better player than he’s usually given credit for being, particularly by opposition fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree but £400k a week? He must be in the top 20 highest paid players in Europe or something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But clubs don’t look at players like fans do and decide what they should offer to pay them based solely on some ‘objective’ analysis of their playing ability.
Juve haven’t said that Ramsey is ‘worth’ £400k per week *as a footballer*.
It’s only fans that think like that because they don’t understand business.

Which is fine but it's still a surprising wage imo.

Fair enough. I actually agree

I think Ramsey is a good player but footballing ability or otherwise there is no way he is worth £400k. He just isn't that marketable.

From what appeared in the media (I know, pinch of salt...) it seemed Ramsey had Juve, PSG and Bayern all interested - perfect way to end up with massive wages having 3 enormous clubs battling for your signature.
I think Ramsey could do very well for Juve. He was a player given a hard time by both his own fans and opposition fans but he's a player I've always liked.

Interesting viewpoint as well.

Clearly they believe they can get more out of Ramsey than Arsenal did.

Play him as a pure 8 and give him freedom and he has goals in him.

Ramsey would have done well under Allegri, but I'm not sure about him under Sarri.

Hamsik did okay and I could see him in a similar role.

Not sure how Juve are able to increase their wages this much and stay the right side of FFP
