Have to say I've enjoyed the games I've seen, not seen every game by any means...really impressed by the skill levels but then quite often you can see the differences with the men's game, usually in a physical way, I confess I squirm when a female player heads the ball...shouldn't women have protective head guard, or something? It's a fact that women are not as physically strong as men playing football, rugby etc...Anyway I shall be watching the game tonight and wishing we can get to the final.
Come on Girls!!
England v USA

Bronze had such a lot to do, up and down that right side, inevitably of course they were mistakes but on the whole and in the circumstances of a very good USA attack I thought she came out with a lot of credit. I agree with your opinion of Scott, Bright, Parris and a few others didn't handle the occasion and heat very well...

It wouldn't have mattered imo had white taken the pen. I think we were in the ascendancy and had we nicked that goal could have gone on to win it. Dissapointing

Been really enjoying watching some games. Can see that they aren't as good as the men at some things, but to be expected. They get a lot less support. Also interesting how some of the biggest nations at Women's Football are poor at the men's game.

Like who Lubo?
USA it was massively seen as a womans sport when it first got implemented over there. Only been last few years or so the mens game has gotten a lot bigger over there.

This has been a great World Cup. The level of play is improving very quickly. Now that Italy, Spain, and others are investing money into the women's game, the quality will rise further. US are still the top team for now though.

Just a thought: Lucy Bronze on that right side, up and down, reminded me of Gary Kelly lol

USA Canada Norway all big women's football teams. Could say the same about Sweden. Then Japan, obviously, but apparently North Korea are meant to be decent and China too.

Lubo, it's been pretty much USA, then Germany, France, England, Canada, Holland, Norway, Australia (downer of a tournament), Sweden, Spain rising, Italy the tournaments big surprise team, rising. China's still in the mix. It's a vibrant group of teams getting better, and closing the gap between the US and them, fast.
