All I am saying is don't expect Chelsea to suddenly become world beaters and don't be surprised if Fat Frank's tenure doesn't last that long.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think many of us do, we all hope of course. To be honest when we signed him for 11 million I thought we were robbed, I hope he continues to surprise and impress me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My big hope for this season JFDI, his that he can fully integrate CHO, James, Mount, Abraham and one or two others this season, Castillo could be worth a try as well given our LB problems.
If we managed all those years in Division Two and kept smiling, a year or two out the top six won't hurt us!

What's all this look deep into your heart twaddle?
And yes we genuinely expect Frank to do well here. That doesn't necessarily mean winning trophies etc straight away though. The first aim is to bring through the very best of this fantastic generation of youth that we have at the club and build a solid base to give us every chance going forward in future seasons.
We've been falling behind the very best teams in the PL for a couple of seasons and now it's time for a fresh approach at the club that sees us maximise on what we actually have in our hands and go from there. And what better time to do that than when we have a transfer ban anyway

Good luck the lamps and jody team.

I won't be disappointed with all that Brummie but I would not be surprised if we do better as well.i believe Lamps will be able to make better use of the squad than Sarri so players like Kante of back to his defensive best and maybe the ability to get a better time out of sarris signings, I'm hopeful.

Could have had Benitez

Best manager in the country, real deal is Bielsa. Frank just a celebrity manager.
--------------------------------------------------
Bielsa is the ultimate hipster manager mate. Just because he's inspired many great managers it doesn't make him one himself.
Insightful philosophies and a superhuman dedication to the craft can only get you so far, at some point the human element will determine how good you truly are, that's always been Bielsa's problem. If he had a squad of 20-25 robots I'm sure he'd be as big as Guardiola, but unfortunately that's not the case.
