Spurs 1 Leicester 1
Dembele (Isco 36)
-------------------------------Jesus (Sane 89)
MOTM - Rodri
A very close game with few chances as both teams cancelled each other out. The match started with a quick tempo with Leicester trying to get the early goal to ease their nerves and they nearly had it with neat work by Hazard on the wings opening space for him to whip a low ball into the box only for Ronaldo's shot to ricochet off of the crossbar. Spurs used that luck to launch a quick counter and the ball made its way up top to Isco to thread an inch perfect pass to Dembele who was one on one with the keeper and he calmly slotted the ball in to the net. Leicester tried to launch a quick reply from kickoff but the Spurs defence was holding firm and not showing any signs of breaking. Another dangerous counter attack was stopped by the brilliant Rodri who was playing like a man possessed, refusing to let his team give up another goal. Second half started and Leicester slowed it down a bit and were not rushing play as much as they did in the first half and this helped them create more chances with the Leicester midfield aiming for the runs of Sane who was trying to beat Firpo for pace by playing off of his shoulder. But Spurs weren't budging. They bought on Partey and Bailly and were on ultra lockdown mode to see the match out. But cometh the hour and cometh the man would be the term that Gabriel Jesus defined as he came off the bench to toepoke a winner in from just in front of the keeper. Leicester were rejuvenated as the referee added 5 minutes of stoppage time. The power of Jesus was flowing through each and every one of Leicester's players. Spurs were there for the taking. But just like that the ref blew his whistle and Leicester had to settle for the draw. The power of Jesus earned them a valuable point today.

Great end to end game full of goals as Chelsea went all out for the win, although it proved in vain as they just fell short of the title. Villa also playing their part with a great attacking display in what could be their final game.
