The #2 keeper spot at Arsenal has become practically a full-time gig in recent seasons. You're more or less guaranteed a full run of all the local and European Cup competitions.

^^ in addition to taking part in all the day-to-day demands of training and match day prep as a member of the main squad.

You could play Leno in the Europa, to be fair. I don’t really know much about Martinez, but you don’t have to be amazing to be a number 2, just solid enough to come in and play a few cup games.

I can understand why a keeper wouldn’t be high on Arsenal’s list of priorities given your financial situation.

Still recovering from his op. Hasn't started training seriously in pre-season.
Not sure he'd be in a position to pass a medical yet...hence the reason he hasn't gone yet.
He wants to go to arsenal though if he's leaving. Not interested in any other offers at this stage.

You can still pass a medical if you are injured.
