Can a Manager be Successful and Fat

I am always very doubtful of managers who clearly do not look after themselves.

Someone who is on the training pitch, every day, surrounded by athletes and the best trainers, facilities and even chefs & nutritionists to support the players.

It baffles me how someone in this position can be a bloater. I'd feel my respect for that person would be much reduced if i were a player.

Steve Bruce, I'm looking at you!

What successful fatty managers have there been over time. Few spring to mind but i may have just blocked their oversized image from my head.

More importantly, which manager has the biggest ego? My money is on Brendan Rodgers?

Brendan was big before the gastric band.

Steve Bruce just appears fat because his nose creates the illusion that you're always viewing him side on. Optical tricks!

There have been no mentions at all yet for the one manager who was made for a thread like this, Big Sam

Has anyone said Bob Paisley yet? Granted, 'healthy' was sticking to just the two slices of fried bread with your truckers breakfast back then but still, big ol' unit!

Steve Bruce drinks custard when he's thirsty.
