Whatever you think of him Gareth Bale has been a phenomenal footballing talent taking on the best in the world.
A player possibly still at the peak of his powers now possibly destined for the Chinese market because they are the only ones willing to pay ludicrous transfer fees and the player £1m per week...
Why did you choose China Gareth? Go on son answer the question........
Clubs/players/agents/sky hang your heads in shame
Glad we are still in the championship, home of honest football apart from spying and diving
Ultimate greed, waste of talent?

He's a football mercenary. Could have gone to Man City win some silverware (the reason everyone should play) He could have gone to Liverpool to help them end a 30 year drought, could have gone back to Spurs but no, after being on 500 grand a week, he still wants more money.
Greedy mercenary

Pure greed.
If he was 20 and never had a big contract before then I’d think different for a variety of reasons not least serious injury.
He has had what 4/5 years of being one of the top 10 best players in the world.
A player with any ambition would go to another European Team and take a cut to a paltry 2-300k a week.
Pure greed has him in China, nothing else.

He won everything its possible to win.
So why not go to china?
Oh that's right because some people seem to think that players owe them something and shouldn't just be in it for the money.
Screw that, theg can do what they want and I hate to see people judge others when they know full well that if they got offered what he is being offered to do their job over in china for four years they would be on the plane tomorrow.
He doesn't owe anyone anything.
Good luck to him

From a business perspective he’d be silly not to go to China.
Whether he wants to move to a country where the culture/language is massively different is another question.

Should have got rid 2 years ago.
Injury prone.
Yes a great player at best but just not worth the £ for a player that’s injured too much.
A player no one wants in the big leagues for that reason.

Wish someone would offer me something like that, I'd be a greedy git and snap their bleeding hands off!..
Some people have talent and people want them, if he gets the move he'd be going to a country that is dragging its football up to level with the rest off the world, obvious they want the best to help in their quest to do just that!..
