A video has emerged of Arsenal's new signing Nicolas Pepe claiming Chelsea were the only Premier League club he would consider joining.
The 24-year-old completed a £72million move to the Gunners on Thursday, penning a five-year contract.
However, in an interview with Telefoot the Ivorian said: 'Chelsea. It's a club that makes me dream. It's the only club in England that I would sign for.'

Spurs just won the Audi Cup so we should all hang our heads in shame and bow to spurs

“I would say that from January to March-April I thought this would be my last season at Chelsea.
“There were a couple of opportunities to stay here [in the Premier League] but I can’t imagine playing for anyone else after being 12 years at Chelsea. I’ve got a lot of respect for a lot of other Premier League clubs, particularly the top ones, but I'm not sure I could have done that."

Think it's safe to assume had we not been banned Pepe would be a Chelsea player right now. We expressed serious interest before the ban (if reports are to be believed), and Arsenal's 1st choice was Zaha so there wouldn't even have been a discussion about a bidding war.
Tbh it's debatable whether it would've been a good move for us anyway. Would've been something else for CHO to moan about/put an extra 30-50k/w on top of the already lucrative contract he has on offer.
