David Lynch:
#LFC far from perfect tonight and yet they start the season with a 4-1 win that never looked in doubt. The only downside is that Alisson injury but, if it's a muscle issue as initially suspected, hopefully he won't require too long a lay-off.
Sounds positive on Alisson if that was their initial conclusion.

Gd result to start off with, fairly routine Norwich deserved a goal for their bravery tbf. Def still getting opened up easily atm like pre season. And already got an injury ffs and to a gk? Wtf. Hopefully just precaution.

Says it's a calf injury though, could have been worse

Klopp says that Alisson felt that he had been hit on his calf, that's not a good sign

That sounds like an Achilles to me, often people say it feels like they’ve been kicked on the back of the leg

You dont hold the back of your knee for Achilles.
I would say personally it's the hamstring but people are reporting calf.
Either way I'm thinking min 4 weeks. We will see though

Hopefully not an achilles, muscle strain would be much better.

Klopp delivers his press conference, and says Alisson injury could be a strain, or calf tear, won't know until after scan in morning. That suggests it's not an Achilles tendon rupture though. With a small tear, absence usually 1-3 weeks. #LFC
