On ths day - 13th August 2016

Only three days since I looked back at 2016 but a very different side that took to the Pirelli for the first home Championship fixture against Bristol City.

Kyle McFadzean, Ben Turner, Jackson Irvine and Lloyd Dyer had all come in during the summer along with Lee Williamson and Chris O'Grady.

When Tom Naylor scored with two minutes to go it looked like we had our first Championship point only for Tammy Abraham to steal all three right at the end of the game. Also up front for the visitors was Jonathan Kodija. They were of course re-united at Aston Villa last season, helping the Villians regain their Premier League status.
