VVD is a worthy contender, but I can't believe Bernado Silva has been ignored, not only did he win several Trophies for City, but also with Portugal, and he is an absolute joy to watch.
Any other candidates?

What exactly did Messi and Ronaldo do in Europe last year?

What's VVD doing there then?
Didn't win any domestic trophies, wasn't part of a National team that won anything and isn't a prolific goal scorer.

You see thats the difference between you and me. i can appreciate a player's achievements, whereas you just want to focus on the things they failed to do

Is this the criteria for one to be nominated?
Did Blatter tell you this in person or via facetime?

Boris were you born stupid or dod you have to work at it? You want a player in who spent most of the year injured and don't want a player in who has been excellent throughout the year because he didn't win a domestic trophy.

Bit of conflict here:-
Messi and Ronaldo are in because they did well in the domestic leagues but Bernardo isn't despite winning all that could be won domestically and was part of the Nations League winning side.
Make your fekin minds up.

All this over feckin Bernardo? &
Very good player tbh but you have to consider that everyone looks good at City. You have to be really crap to look bad in that team. I mean, even Iheanacho was looking good.
Bernardo was nowhere near the best player in England last season, leave alone the world and he'll have done well for his career if he ever gets proper nominated.
