Sticky Plaster Free Agents

We didn't quite get the extent of rebuild progress we needed this summer but it does seem like we will continue shipping out deadwood so the squad looks a little light in some positions.

Transfer window is closed but we can still sign free agents. Who would you go for?

Coentrao is still only 31 and would provide cover at LB and I;m sure he played DM for Madrid at times too. Slight worry being he only lasted a year at lowly Rio Ave.

Llorente. Something different to our other attacking options, happy to come off the bench, technically good and great attitude. Premier League proven. Could definitely do with another CF.

Fredy Guarin an option for midfield. It's a shame Marchisio is finished due to injury, very underrated player for years. Can't see Ole giving Garner much time, maybe TFM is earmarked to cover DM when he is fit.

If Sanchez goes I wouldn't be against Llorente. We need a back-up striker that offers something very different. Some aerial prowess wouldn't be a bad thing to have - I'm not sure we have a plan B. Mandzukiv would have been an even better signing for this reason - he's more mobile and still playing to a higher level than Llorente.

Coentrao, Llorente?

Come on, we are better off playing youth.

Brandon Williams looks mustard for the u21s but we all know we'll see Young play ahead of him regardless.

Chong, Gomes and James would do very well to get 10 goals between them this year.

It is too much to be banking on Greenwood to chip in with 10-15 himself but an injury to Rashford or Martial and that's what we'll be asking.

I'd rather play the kids. Something our fans have been crying out for for some time.

Young is no worse than coentrao. No reason for us to spend another £80k a week on a player who isn't good enough.

Free agent list is pretty dire tbh... Very little there that would help any Premier league clubs at all never mind us

That's twice you've made reference to crying and whinging

Other than the ligitimate concerns around Jose taking over I dont think the debate around the use of kids is how you are portraying
