I love cricket. I've spent plenty of happy afternoons at Old Trafford, first with my dad, watching Brian Statham, Cyril Washbrook.
Later with a mate watching Geoff Pullar, Clive Lloyd, and others. It's great, and there is no equivalent sport anywhere in the world.

Me? Or the other poster. My comment was basically copying Bob Willis commentary when England beat Australia in the one day group stage match in the Natwest series in 2005. Kevin Pieterson made 90 odd not out to steer England home in a good run chase and Bob Willis said "Shades of Vivian Richards here"

Anybody else think the DRS system in cricket is potentially flawed, if you look closely at the Stokes LBW which the Aussies were unable to review, the ball grazes Stokes` front pad first and the ball changes direction.
DRS has the ball going on to hit the stumps, but on closer inspection the line of ball appears to going down the leg side at the first point of impact with Stokes` front pad.
Stokes even mentioned this in a post match interview, he said the ball never spun and his instinct was the ball was going down the leg side as it hit his front pad. You can see the ball change direction as it grazes off his pad and head towards the stumps, which is the line DRS followed, but it looks a different line at the first point of impact.
I`m not convinced DRS is entirely accurate and this kind of proves it.

Umpire getting paid a brown envelope bonus after that decision. Australia fools for wasting their review knowing the tricks England play with the officials.
