No one wants to lose. But considering we just got Anfield out the way, I'd say still being ahead of United, Chelsea and Spurs leaves us in pretty decent shape at this stage.
Who'd have thought United and Spurs would lose to Palace and Newcastle? Both at home?
Tottenham at home next. Really should be winning that to lay a marker for the season.
Not a terrible weekend really

Complete different game. Football is a funny old game.

Whilst I've never been a big fan of Luiz he's a big upgrade on Mustafi. He will make some mistakes but all of our players will over the course of a season. Once he's alongside Bellerin, Holding & Tierney then he won't be left as exposed and I believe he'll make fewer errors.

Still above Totts and Man U, in 3rd, and the hardest game out the way.
A good win next weekend and certainly not the worst start we could have made

We all know we’re not at city and Liverpool’s level, so unfortunately, we don’t really have to be beating them to have a good season for us as we are now. So long as we can do well against the rest we’ll stand a good chance of top 4. Liv and city are a fair bit better than anyone in the league, and we still put in a decent display against them. And Without stupid mistakes we could have got closer to them
The true test of our top 4 chances will be our ability to beat or get decent results against likes of Man U, spurs, then rest of top 6/8. If we start bottling those kinds of games I’d start to be concerned about our progress. Can’t judge too much by losing to Liverpool

Some Spurs fans were undermining our win at Newcastle.
I thought that Joe Linton could be dangerous.
He ends up scoring the winner v Spurs.
Still
Arsenal v Tottenham will be a very tough game indeed

Losing Koscielny and replacing him with David Luiz was exceptional business given the circumstances.
That is not to suggest for one second that we do not need to be improving on him ASAP.
I like Holding, but one would think he's been transformed into Nesta during his injury.
A lot rides on players developing. I believe in Saliba's talent, but there's plenty of bridges to cross before we can consider him the solution.

Very odd comments.
I just think that based on current form, we will lose.
I hope I’m wrong
