To actually answer the question. I have always played football and done kickboxing/boxing, but since injuries have taken their toll I have started up taking long distance running. Since i've bought a place as well gardening is taking up a lot of my time!

Isn’t that on the south coast? Always fancied a trip to Sandy Balls.

If you need any advice on where to visit in Scotland, I am your man. Particularly, secret places that the general public don't know about.

I’m all ears, appreciate it. Was thinking of joining the camping and caravan club because they have access to quiet sites. I need to read up on the rules etc, because ideally I’d just like to pitch up somewhere off grid and secluded.

You can camp anywhere in Scotland. I just pack a lightweight tent and sleeping bag and then can pitch up on top of a mountain or by a beach or anywhere. I could create a map of the best spots to wild camp in Scotland. At the same time I don't want too many people knowing about them
