Just joined PSG for what's in effect around 60mil (including the initial loan fee). Curious. Do we regret this or not?
Given the circumstances of our frontline right now, it's probably safe to assume without the ban in effect Giroud would've left on a free and Abraham would've been 2nd choice behind a new CF - and given the price (probably would've been slightly more to us) I'm inclined to believe Icardi would've been the guy.
This is a tough one. Been an admirer of his for years but attitude stinks, says something when Conte takes one look at him, prolific scorer/captain and says 'nah, can't be @rsed with that', and didn't have the best of seasons last year. There's a sense that he would've fit into the typical Chelsea no.9 flop category but I dunno
Curious to see other views on this.
Typical Chelsea record signing flop? Or would've been the new Costa 'badboy' figure? I'm practically 50/50 on it.

I thought you had a transfer ban?

When fit Neymar -- Icardi -- Mbappe looks tasty.
Cavani was always hit and miss and known for missing sitters in big games.

Surprised PSG haven’t had their fill of petulant superstar forwards but I guess there will always be a club willing to gamble attitude for performance.
Given how Lampard talks about team work and the squad I doubt he’d have gone anywhere near Icardi. Rightly so as well.

The Devil is a devil for punishment ! .
Would not want him anywhere near our club.

Yeah, compelled to agree with the comments the more I think about it. Two years ago absolutely, but too much of a headache in the long run.
A win for the transfer ban then, cos I strongly suspect he would've been the one now, and more than likely for a bigger fee than PSG have paid.

I doubt he would’ve been the guy with his attitude problem. With no ban I think Haller may have been a big target for us, and of course, Jovic.

Doubt Jovic would've come, deal with Real was done very quickly. Haller perhaps.
I reckon Icardi would've been 2nd choice behind, believe it or not, Lukaku. United would've priced us out, or just refused to sell to us altogether, and Icardi would've joined us on deadline day as Lukaku went to Inter.

Of course. When we inevitably revert to boring boring Chelsea, at least we'd have the off-field antics to amuse us.
soccer?lol.
