Although they're a two bob team who play in the middle of nowear they ave sold out the school end. We should be flattered that they see us as their cup final. It might be more of a test of our nerves rather than our skill. If we can old our nerve we'll take all three points and put them back to beds (no pun intended). A win on Sat would show serious intent about gettin into the play-offs.

Last time I encountered Luton was way back in 2001. After a freezing cold evening game that went into extra time about twenty of theirs offered the White Orse pub out. Maybe to their surprise quite a few did come out and those Luton that didn't ave it on their toes were pasted all over the Uxbridge Rd. Wot surprised me that night was that despite plenty of plod in evidence they did nish.

Always disliked their fellow South Midlanders - Watford - more, but the games in the 80s were always lively away from the pitch. From both sets of fans.

Another draw played out tonight by two of the supposedly better teams in this division. You ave to wonder if there's gonna be any "stand out" sides dis season.

Yeh, my animosity as been more for Watford than Luton. At the end of the sixties quite a few people from the Ladbroke Grove area got moved out to places like South Oxhey and Carpenters Park, including some of my relatives. Them being R's fans and now livin on the outskirts of Watford elped fuel the dislike.

Phew, that got unnecessarily uncomfortable. You ave to wonder about Les's decision to let Alex Smithies go for 3/4 million. This would be some team if he was still between the sticks.
