Tbf to Hodgson, by the time he got to Liverpool Rafa had spent all their money, and all their really good players had gone or were wanting out. Alonso had gone, Mascherano was going and Torres was desperate not to play for Liverpool.

Emery is probably underrated the state of the Arsenal side and they are performing quite well.

Not if you ask Arsenal fans it seems Phe'ndombele. Whilst i'm not particularly blown away by Emery, there does seem a general lack of recognition by Asrenal fans for the job he's taken on there. That said, I don't watch the team week in week out so they're clearly best placed to judge.
