Stupid question....

I keep hearing/reading about this Centenary 4th kit.

Did I miss the launch of the third?

My 3rd daughter literally used to live just down the road from Headingly, five minutes' walk. My youngest, daughter #5, is about twenty minutes away. She's pressurising me for an ER season ticket at the moment.

Really like Headingley apart from traffic chaos,
plenty of eating and drinking places, I like where the
ground is situated, glad its not situated in plenty of
space, out on the ring roads...the place has an
atmosphere of its own, both in present times and
historically, rugby and cricket.

Think the ground looks fabulous now with the
redevelopment, apart from the Western terrace, not a
lot they can do about that with planning regulations
as they are...mind you on a sunny day the Western
terrace looked great recently, the test match.
I had a seat in the South Stand but have switched
to the North Stand.

Love the city, we've got great sports venues, plenty
of history and great memories of ER and Headingley!

And soon, we'll have a new ice hockey team, adorned in the colours of Leeds United, without a hint of pink.

Yes, fabulous memories of Leeds and all that goes with it. Even better that two of my daughters chose to study there too along with one nephew and one son in law. Keeps the tradition going, plus more than enough excuses to keep going back

Yeah it's great when continuation through family
and relatives take active interest in Leeds football and
rugby...my son is a big United fan and he's also a
rugby league coach, loves his cricket too, recently we
went to Edgbaston for the Ashes test.

Haven't been there in years, my old neighbour was related to Dennis Amiss.

Rugby?
Odd shaped ball with odd shaped fans, no offence of course. 😉
I presume the designer had a whisky too many when they designed it.

- a very physical game, totally different to football of course.. you can see why they call football 'the beautiful game'... where as Rugby league is a rather uglier watch..

if any body saw the Wigan vs Cas game last night? - there was an incident that made me think of the way footballers dive about... Cas player pushed Wigan player over for no aparent reason, Wigan player got up and pushed him.. then a one-handed push in his face.. the ref came over and said "give it rest lads'... that was it, everyone just got on with it.. made me think, if that happened on a football field, the Cas player would have rolled around like he'd been shot, the players would of surrounded the ref begging for a red card and the pundits would of spoken about the incident for about 3 months

That's after the pundits have talked about the clear Hand ball though.
