I read that Billy Gilmour will be out for a few weeks after picking up a groin injury training with Scotland this past week. It's especially annoying as he would probably have had an opportunity to play in an upcoming Carabao cup match - especially with Kante and Kovacic nursing injuries as well.
We've been unfortunate with injuries in the early weeks of this season, but I'm hoping that Kante and Rudiger will be fit for Saturday. We certainly need Kante, as we don't have any central midfield players left fit apart from Jorginho. Plus, both CHO and Reece James are scheduled to play in an U-23 game tomorrow night, so that's good news.
But with our transfer ban we are definitely light on players due to all these injuries - particularly in central midfield. Fingers crossed that Kante stays fit now.

There's every chance Gilmour will be available for match against Grimsby, If the groin injury is mild.

If there's a shortage of midfielders against Wolves...George McEachran or Tino Anjorin on the bench.

Wow! Those two on the bench! That would be good!
I will be at the Bridge tomorrow evening to see how RJ and CHO get on. Looking forward to that.
