From the press conference today it looks like rudiger is starting, so who partner's him? Lampard has given all 3 centre backs game time so far with tomori starting the last game. Hopefully rudiger and tomori start tomorrow and going forward and build a solid partnership.

I think that Frank might well start with Rudi and Tomori, lets hope so, especially if Alonso starts, and Dave on the other side. They are both more athletic and agile than AC and Zooms,

Could any one of the 3 but I'm just glad Rudiger is back.
I'd probably go with AC because Wolves is a tricky place to go but if Lamps has got faith in Tomori then why not.

It's a tough call. Tomori looked very composed in the last game but Zouma and Christensen are fairly established international players already so it's a big call leaving both out.
A good problem to have though. Much better than not having enough players to choose from. If Rudi is ready to start then can see Lamps going with Rudi and Tomori.

It's gotta be Rudiger & Christensen. Granted I don't know much about Tomari but Wolves are gunna shred us on the counter so we need pace and experience.
Although if we played Tomari to keep Christensen fresh for Liverpool I could understand that. Unless Frank switches to a 433 w/Jorginho for that game, we'll need his composure with the ball to combat Liverpool's high press.

Nice to have our best CB in AC and our second best in Rudiger available, at the same time.
Now need both to form a solid partnership (and backline as a whole with Emerson & RJ), over a regular run of games.
Complementary partnerships & consistency is essential to succeed.

Anyone but Zouma. Rudiger and Christensen or Rudiger and the kid would be fine.

I read somewhere that Tomori is the 4th fastest player at Chelsea, after Pulisic, Willian and CHO. Could that be right? He is certainly lacking with regards to experience, but I don't think any of the 4 centre backs are lacking when it comes to pace.
