And breathe

Has this been the biggest media over reaction to a draw in premier league history? City lose to promoted Norwich yet the headlines and social media are taken up by us drawing with a team that has beaten us several times in last few years

Yes we can be very disappointed as fans at the draw but the media reaction proves that Arsenal don't get the same treatment as the rest

Spurs losing to Newcastle at home. United losing none of them got the same coverage. Why is this?

Not really, the point is defensively - especially away from home, there has been ZERO improvement.

The point is Emery isn’t getting it done and there is now real doubt that he is capable of doing it.

It wasn't the media reaction that was funny but the huge fan overreaction. Chelsea did the same thing home to Sheffield United the week before and the fans were calm (as was the media mostly). The Arsenal fans surprised me this week.

We dropped two points from a two-goal winning position against the bottom team who have yet to win a game. It's not exactly as if there's no reason to be upset.

You should count the Emery out articles on this board to find the answer and it has nothing to do with the media.

I would be deeply concerned by the captain coming out and saying that the team were scared. Against a team winless, bottom of the league, and having been 2-0 up against them.

I won’t properly worry until we’ve had new signings settled in and our best defence back, then there’s no real excuse. If in month or so, and this crap is still happening then it’s time to be concerned with the coach. We should have done better and there’s no excuse for how we collapsed, but I want to see our team at it’s full potential before I can fully judge. Having holding, Bellerin and Tierney back should make a big difference. If it doesn’t then you’ve really got to question wether emery can ever sort the issues out in our team

Would be great if we can still be close to top 4 in January, then hopefully we can shift the likes of xhaka out and replace him with a proper player. Starting him constantly isn’t helping us. Hopefully Edu can see this if emery can’t and remedy us from the destructive players in January

Totally missing the point, it was a joke performance, hence why everyone is livid!

The second half performance was that of a amateur team.

It's fan and ex player reaction that is driving it

It's quite easy for the media to be overly negative about us as half the fanbase will lap it up instead of challenging contrived narratives
