I can't pretend iv seen much of him so far at Madrid but from the reports iv been seeing, to put it nicely they haven't been impressed so far. Unlike courtois who I'm glad is in shocking form and conceding goals for fun, I actually hope hazard does well. My question is, are Madrid expecting too much from hazard in wanting good performances game in game out? While at Chelsea he came up with plenty of moments of magic but he was never what id call a consistent performer. He had magic moments in games that made him stand out, but there was plenty of quiet games of games where he did very little. Was the freedom and comfort of Chelsea what he needed to flourish?

Hazard made a sub appearance, after a long injury. Made his first sub appearance playing just under 30 minutes in the 2nd half against Levante on the weekend and was replaced after 60 minutes against PSG in the midweek.
Obviously, it will take a bit of time until he comes back fully fit. That said, a fully fit Hazard won’t be expected to make that much of a difference especially given his injury early in the season.

It's still the same situ at RM,at the moment they are screaming and shouting at everyone, not least Zizou,closely followed by the postman,poor old Eden is just in the crossfire at the moment,but given time I'm sure he will be recognised.
But they always are looking for scapegoats if they lose a game,and like Brummie, I hope it goes on for a while yet

Real are a complete mess in general, Hazard (and his fitness) is the least of their worries right now.
Mourinho will be back there by 2020, reckon was Perez's motivation trying to push Ramos out in the summer. They need him urgently. Even if the football will bore them to tears, they're crying out for some kind of collective structure in their play, have no idea how to function without Ronaldo.
