I think they can! If they can find some way of filling those 6,500 empty seats they have each week that will help. Strange how their fans have stopped going as you know how proud they were of their attendances! At least having less fans in the ground doesn’t effect the atmosphere cause there wasn’t one anyway.
I guess when Rooney comes in they will get all the Young Man Utd fans coming to the ground so that will help them sell a few more tickets and make a bit more noise. You can’t beat that primary school atmosphere.
Coco is clearly a tactical genius, anyone can see that. It’s just a matter of time before they get the extra 4 points they need to make sure they don’t “do a Derby"! That would be embarrassing.
So fingers crossed they can save themselves 🤞
Do you think Derby can stay up?

Can't avoid doing a Derby because we are Derby County which is far preferable to being Nottingham Forest. You only have to look at the messages on this board to realise that Derby County supporters are superior in every way to Nottingham Forest supporters. Most of us can put words of more than two syllables in a sentence and can count to more than 10. I admit Forest fans can count to more than 10 but only by virtue of their extra digits as a result of inbreeding.
I normally take the Scandanavian view that I am no better than anyone and no one is better than me but I can't help feeling that the supporters on the Eastern end of Brian Clough way are some sort sub species.

Derby fans only need to count to 11 though!

“Superior in every way”
Except at actually attending their clubs matches!

Strange how for 7 of the last 10 seasons we have finished with more points than Forest and for 9 of the last 10 have had a higher average attendance.

Not living in the past, just commenting that you for one season, seem to be doing better than us and all of a sudden you are world beaters. We will see where we are at the end of the season. It's near the time for your November slide down the table in to mid table obscurity, or worse.

Depends how you look at it, we can also count to 20 as that is how long it’s been since you have had any premier league points 👍

i’ll answer the post. Everyone seems to be a bit defensive, so I’ll keep it simple.
Derby will stay up.
Regardless of where Forest finish, Cocu simply hasn’t the team Lampard had. A couple of decent draws need to be followed up with a win against Birmingham. Just as we could be top Friday night, Derby could be in the relegation zone by the middle of next week, with an early six pointer against Barnsley. Both are unlikely.
Ultimately, Derby are massively weakened by the loan departures, which will surely inhibit their ability to score goals and ultimately points.
Even if Coco doesn’t turn it around you’ll get someone in who will.
Far too early to call, but safe imo.
