Aurier and Lloris - countless mistakes

Don’t like to pick up on the negatives especially after a fantastic hard thought win. We all expected 3 points today, but it does feel a lot better when you go down to 10 men most the game and somehow manage to get back in front and keep our lead. As for Aurier, that’s the final straw for me. The guy is a complete liability and will never change. Capable of producing quality in spurts, but he costs us games far to often. He’s just so brainless as a footballer it’s a joke.

The issue is, we have nobody else good enough to play Right back Lloris redeemed himself 2nd half, but I would like a new top quality keeper next year who can actually distribute the ball. Lloris limitations with the ball at his feet are up there among the worse I have ever seen in a Goal Keeper.

I’m not expecting our keeper to have Messi like ball control, but he can’t even get the basics right. It’s so frustrating because he causes these sort of situations so many times. He heaps the pressure on the defence and has no clue how to distribute or move the ball with his feet. These are traits a top goal keeper must have, but his are literally non existent.

I love Lloris as a shot stopper and love his long standing service, but time for sentimental bulls** to be forgotten next year. Time to rid of players that make to many mistakes, which effectively have cost us trophies down the years. I have never known a group of players to make costly individual errors on so many occasions than this Spurs team.

Poch said to blame him for Hugos errors, because he demands that he does that, seems another strange statement from the master

He's just trying to protect his players, that's all.

NO! Pochettino emphasizes keep ball from the get go. Lloris couldn't see anybody open and dillydallied around to the point of silliness.
It was Lloris' error but he made it doing what Pochettino asked of him.
If it was okay to just boot the ball lloris had plenty of time to do just that.

Beyond belief that Lloris who has had numerous howlers over the last few seasons not to mention drink driving (which seems to have been swept under the carpet) lifted the most recent World Cup.

The guy is an absolute prize t!t and I don't know how any Spurs fan could be behind him at this point. Far too comfortable with the #1 jersey and MP won't change that until absolutely forced to if he hasn't already gone himself.

Bit like Bruce Lee

"What's your style"

"You could call it the art of fighting...without fighting"

Which is a Spurs thing too

I was at the game yesterday, I, and everyone around me thought Sissoko is a far better right back than Aurier who is our designated right back?! Very capable. Obviously he won't be used as our new RB but if called upon he was alot less erratic and solid, had a good game.

I'm sure inside he does blame Lloris even if he wants them to play out from the back, but he's not going to come out and slate him publicly. He's not that sort of manager.

To be fair to Aurier, his second yellow was a complete over reaction and dive from very little contact, it also looked accidental. Maybe the referee took offence to Serge`s VAR celebration and couldnt wait to book him.

The referee was poor, he was inconsistent all game, he let the Saint`s players persistent fouling go unpunished until late in the game.
