Never really bought into this "world class coach" opinion,if so why has he never managed Barcelona,Real Madrid,Juventus etc. and why is he at Leeds. The Idea that we only need a squad of 18 is ridiculous in a long 46 game season, the "Groundhog Day" style of play is wearing pretty thin now. Sadly I can't see it changing, the next 2 game's are now crucial and a minimum of 4 points are required ( a tough ask) if not I think a change of manager is required during the international break, before the season becomes a lost cause.

Yesterday was a poor performance. Our first bad game of the season where the team and tactics didn't work to good effect. Every team has off days. Even then it takes a keeping error for the opposition to get a sniff.
But last week, if we beat Derby like we should have we are top of the league. If we beat Forest as well, we are 2 points clear at the top. Not sure what Bielsa is supposed to do about an experienced penalty taker taking a terrible penalty and a £7million striker not scoring at least 1 of the 4 good chances he had in those two games. The tactics are working - we have created good chances in 8 out of 9 games and restricted the opposition to a minimal amount of opportunities. It's individual players who are letting themselves down the last few games.

The worrying aspect of the Charlton game is that Bielsa made the right tactical changes at the right times and they didn't work. We were getting so much space around their box and yet no-one was prepared to run through them. Klich and Dallas couldn't put a shot on target between them, Helder and Harrison were not incisive enough and Eddie and Bamford received very little service up front. We lacked imagination without Pablo, but we lack ignition without Pontus.

The biggest problem we have is that teams now know that they must 'park the bus' for the majority of the game, but that they will get a few chances to bag a goal.
Our biggest problem is that we struggle to score when teams have all their players in or around their penalty area. That's where Roofe was so effective with his movement and eye for goal.
Really think we need both Eddie and Bamford on together - if nothing else, it would give Eddie more time to acclimatise to first team football.

Of everything I wrote, you pick out one word...respond to the actual point or don't bother.
The tactics are working because we are creating lots of chances and conceding very few. Individual players have let this down in the last 2 games.

But that is my point Best, we can't look at everything and say if we scored this, if we won that, if we won every match etc etc.
IF the tactics were working we'd be winning more matches, scoring more goals and be top of the table.

We have created by far the most goal scoring opportunities and conceded by far the least chances.
That's the job of the tactics. The players needs to do the last bit and they aren't.

That's my point, Faith, exactly.
The tactics are clearly working which is why we have been the better team in 8 out of 9 games. Bielsa can't be criticised because Klich takes a stupud penalty - which is the difference between us being top and 4th.

-------
But they're not.
Teams regularly say that our tactics will allow them space and give them a chance to score, they've been saying that since last season and these are such quality chances that they only need one or two of them to score.
We seem to create a lesser calibre of chance, for example, numerous aimless crosses into the box with one out of from striker and 6 opposition players is hardly a chance.
So the simple question is, if the tactics are working fine, then do you continue exactly as is and by law of averages things change?
If anyone suggests 2 up top or bringing Roberts in to change dynamic of team is clearly saying that tactics aren't working and they need to be tweaked.
