We need to go back to basics. Unfortunately we don't have a defensive midfielder. Our poor run of form coincides with Dembele getting injured and leaving. Also, Soyuncu is the type of defender we need to look forward to the future. He is willing to put his head in where it hurts and looks just the type of player we need. Also, to get rid of Poch does not guarantee we will improve. Another manager will demand major funds to challenge and we're not in a position to do that anyway.

You will have to pay top dollar for him next summer, for us to even consider selling. Spurs don't do that. Man City also rumoured suitors.

Yeah but will either of them be at Spurs next season and they're both getting older, Soyuncu is young and for his age is top drawer. You've no chance of signing him though.

Why don't we just try and sign these sort of players before other clubs do? Leicester certainly have far better scouts than ours clearly.

I dont get this. I never saw anyone say this. A few saying trippier looked impressive when he debutised for walker and that some didnt rate walker that highly, but this nonsense has been blown out of proportion

Me either. I don't think anyone has ever said that Tripps is/was better than Walker.
Walker was, and still is, twice the player Tripps was.
