I am being serious when I say this. How many other managers can statistically be so dominant away from home in 6 of our last 7 league away matches and not win any. Its very rare for a side to have so few points away when they have dominated so much. In fact we must have the most unluckiest away record in history of the PL.
As a manager Solskjaer cannot do much. Out of our last 7 league away games we dominated 6 of them and the other we lost 4-0 in a game expected goals defeat should have been by 1. In away games we have like the worst goalkeeper in the world and the worst finishing.
Man Utd had 101 shots in last 7 league away games and scored 4 goals. Less than a goal every 25 shots. In same time frame we have allowed 69 shots and conceded 13 goals. This means we are conceding 1 goal every 5.31 shots away from home for 7 league games and scoring 1 goal every 25.25 shots This has led to us getting 3 points from last 7 away games. The opposition being about 4.76x more efficient in front of goal than us over a period of 7 league away games. So realistically to win we need to have 26 shots and allow 4 shots against us and that is to just win 0-1.
I say best manager in the league as he is getting some average players to dominate every side but there inefficiency at both ends is killing us. Media perception is we are a laughing stock and in crisis when really we are insanely dominant but insanely inefficient at both ends.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the best manager in PL

You only had 3 shots more than us lol and we were defending a 1 goal lead for a lot of it.

Now we are top after 17 league games. Not surprised really. Our away form picked up soon after we stopped being insanely inefficient.

We haven’t even got that much more efficient as we were near 20th best side for months in efficiency but domination wise near the top when we went on that bad away run. Now we are efficient enough like we should have been last season. Last season we drew so many one sided games.

The stats before Fernandes came had Man Utd 20th most efficient side in the league and Liverpool 1st when our stats in domination were nearly identical. Just shows you how poor our attacking players were. No wonder Fernandes is our top scorer, when you play in such a dominant side if you have someone half decent at shooting you are going to rack up your goals. Even Fernandes trolls our strikers when they miss as he counts chances as they should be assists so when they miss sitters he tells them about it. Before likes of Rashford would laugh it off.

Interestingly our expected points last season after 19 league games was 35.20 when we had 28 points while this season it is 32.02 and we have 40 points. Just shows you it doesn't matter if you are tactically good, if you are inefficient.
One thing constant is that we have been tactically good under Ole as last season expected points per game was ridiculous considering how many players we got rid of.
