Really? Like Eric says, we already have enough inexperienced players that need wiser heads to guide them.

Rather than Foden, I'd rather see us bid for Saha as he looks almost certain to leave Palace in the summer anyway - may as well be us, as any other club!

We need experienced players (not necessarily old) who are the finished product to complement our youth.

Speaking of sancho, I'd love us to spend big on him or an equally good winger for the succession planning to pedro/willian. The squad has really surprised me how good they are, so I think spending a lot on one or two players (winger and CB for me) would make sense, assuming we have a lot to spend when our ban is lifted.

For years, we spent for the sake of it, overpaying for players and on wages. We seriously have to look at what we've got, where we are and what we need when the ban is lifted, not spend silly money and isolate players who are developing well. We need a top centre back to go with Tomori and Rudiger, a top left back, and a better box-to.box midfielder than Barkley and Kovacic. We also need to sell a few players. We don't need to play fantasy football. This squad could develop likethe young United squad of the 90s if we are patient and find the right blend.

They're all out on loan, Monaco do have the option of signing Bakayoko on a permanent deal for £32 million. There's also been some reports saying that Zappacosta can make his deal permanent for £20-25 million. As for the others hopefully we can con someone into buying them.
