Looks like the weeks international break hasnt done us any favours. A further 4 injuries to add to the list for James, Christiensen, kovacic and kante. Not sure how serious they are but considering lampards rightfully cautious approach I can't see them featuring at Newcastle. On top of that most of the other players had limited playing time or poor performances. The one player who did shine, last night especially was CHO, looked sharp and bagged a couple of goals, I can see the extra game time had helped with match fitness. I can see him doing really well this weekend. Hopefully the time off has helped Emerson and rudiger and we could see them back this weekend to make up for the players we've lost.

Youngest in the u21 squad & cut-above the rest (hence already capped at senior level).
Foden is close behind.

Update: "Christensen has had a scan on a hamstring injury and is unlikely to feature.
Kante is doubtful too - has minor groin problem.
Kovacic suffered minor leg injury playing for Croatia but hope is he will be okay.
Emerson set to return against Ajax next week."
