Putting the Liverpool fixture to one side (as we are likely to lose) how do we think we will get on in the following league fixtures?
Norwich
Bournemouth
Brighton
Sheff Utd
That's a favourable set of fixtures for any club aiming for a top 4 finish, and I'd expect us to get 12 points if Ole wants to keep his job.
So, will it be maximum points from those fixtures, and I'd not, how many does Oles need to keep his job ?

Understat have Leicester (4th in the table) second from bottom of the table on expected goals.
Hafi, how do you feel about that?

Thats because they create extremely few chances. Only Newcastle United have created fewer total good chances than them.

Interestingly Leicester Arsenal and Spurs should be in the 10 point mark and bordering on 11. All 3 outperformed what was expected for and against significantly although Spurs as a result don’t gain any points really.

What do you think is the more ‘fair’ position for Leicester?
4th or 19th?

Rodgers has an extremely negative setup. Puel had a much more attacking setup. Interesting since Emery took over Arsenal concede tons more chances and create extremely few chances compared to under Wenger. Also since Rodgers came in they create extremely few chances and concede similar amount of chances against them. So all Rodgers has done is play negatively in most games and hope to nick a win.

Leicester aren’t a particular creative side but that still surprises me. Though I suppose they’ve probably had the more difficult run of fixtures of anyone in the league. Which is kind of the problem with collating xg and drawing conclusions this early into a season.

🙂Glad Ed Woodward has come out and is seeing at how great Solskjaer is doing rather than just look at results. The only difference is now we are not getting the results but we are still playing a strong attacking football.
Honestly think people are just clueless about football. Everyone saying Solskjaer should get sacked in the media and worst Man Utd team ever when in terms of domination it is near the best in the PL era. How can the worst Man Utd team ever have been on top of nearly every game this season and allow near 0. Something expected goals against them in nearly every game this season.
Ed Woodward probably getting a striker deal sorted for January in the next few weeks and he owes OGS one for leaving him short.

Robb I do watch most games. Even OGS has been saying similar stuff like me about the great chances we miss and margins keep going against us.
It must feel strange as a manager for your side to consistently allow next to no chances against and create a lot more chances than the opposition with a few good chances and miss nearly every time and the opposition to keep scoring a bolt from the blue.

Its funny people talk about it being the worst Man Utd team who are 1st on lowest expected goals against stat. In fact its rare to have such low expected goals against stat and still be near the top on expected goals and we have had a few bad decisions as well that were wrong. We have consistently missed key chances this season while the opposition have scored more than expected against us in most games. We scored less than expected in most games and end result is where we are now.
