Andereas Phereira

That is a lot more like it son.

We were well on top when he played centrally today, losing impetus when Ole bottled it and went to a 5-4-1 and moved him to the RW.

No player created more chances or made more recoveries than Pereira in that match today.

Must also say seeing Rojo and Pereira with that bite and fire in them is refreshing, hopefully that type of attitude is contagious in the dressing room.

He was decent, more industry than guile but that can be said of the whole team yesterday

Not sure he is the answer to any question long term but deserves another go centrally after yesterday.

Out biggest issue is that we have not been able to coach raw talent into top players. Rashford, Martial and Andreas are just a few examples. Andreas is athletic, fast, aggresive, can run for 90mins, intelligent enough to pick up great positions outside the box, good passing and a mean shot. Issue is he needs to be coached a bit more on decision making and position in the box. Unfortunately we don't have the coaches. Under someone like Pep or Poch he could take it to the next level and be a great player.

OP

Your crush on Pereira is very similar to my teenage daughters crush on Orlando Bloom.

I actually thought yesterday showed Perieras limitations, the quality when it matters in the final third.

Wouldn't question his desire or attitude though one bit, if Pogba had the same mentality as McT and Periera he'd be the best CM in the league along side KDB.

Was pogba at the game yesterday or is he still working hard in Dubai

He's working on his own fitness program abroad, and currently having some downtime after the gruelling sessions in Dubai with Zidane.

Yesterday he was spotted doing the stadium tour of Bernabeu.

Yeah posters think I have a huge bias towards him so I've decided to run with it

The Pereira creed:
1) He is a central midfielder
2) He should be on our set pieces
3) He is one of our 3 best midfielders currently at the club and Matic, Fred, Lingard and Mata should be moved on before him.

WB, I realise its a bit late, but the biggest fear I have about Andreas is that we give up on him and he becomes a bona fide star at barca or City, etc...our coaching isn't first-rate anymore, and that hurts.
