VAR

Yes we know Emery got it wrong and we were toothless but just looking at this from a different angle. Wtf is the pont of VAR. We 100% should have had a pen.

It feels like refs have actually got worse. Or maybe they are making less calls because they think VAR will cover it but no one ever turns it round

The Premier league is a laughing stock at the moment. Poor poor quality of football and embarrassing officiating

I like VAR and I want it to stay but yes it needs review as nothing is ever changed other than offside calls

It's not consistent at all! surely they should have had a look at our penalty claim, In the world cup there were so many pens given for defenders pulling players shirts in the box when a set piece was being taken, VAR overturned it yet in the league this season there has been none of it at all!

Sokratis was def impeded. They don’t want to the overrule the ref even if the ref gets it wrong on penalties. Its a joke but that’s why it wasn’t given.

They will start over ruling the ref soon. so it will make it even more subjective.
If the Var is there to look at penalties, Then why haven't any been given or taken away by the officials watching the monitors? its almost November not happened yet.
Watford were clearly robbed at the weekend. If that's not a clear and obvious mistake by the ref on the field. I will eat oles at the wheels hat

It amazes me. Across the world football is run by stupid and corrupt individuals most of whom have never played the game.

So looks like they changed it and as you said the subjectivity is now cause for huge debate. Luckily for us we are on the wrong side both times

yeah its nonsensical. How Man-united got given the first penalty is beyond me.. if a man viewing the screen cant see James angled his run into the defend then fell down is beyond me.
At least stuff like that should be evident enough. I have said other places before VAR was introduced.. There will still be dozens of debatable calls. Nothing will change in that regard.

Am not against technology. But its gotta work and it doesn't ,not in football.
Next weekend it will be the same in 3/4 fixtures you will get the same thing. Is VAR correct is the man viewing it getting it right. was the ref right,. when do we overrule and went don't we overrule the on field
official.
To me it should be only for offsides (which is still not 100% correct) and whether the ball is over line.

the main decisions should be left the man in black, like it always has been over 130+ years of football.
The referees have to get better, and if they make honest mistakes so be it.
